This patient was seen by Dr. Repta at our Phoenix AZ office for gynecomastia (chest fullness). He had firm fibrous tissue in the area of his areolas that bothered him in terms of appearance as well as how it felt. After discussing the options available for treating this, we agreed the best option for him was to perform direct and complete excision through a small 2-3 cm incision at the lower border of his areola and chest skin. The post-operative photos are 7 days out showing some residual swelling but no bruising with improved shape and contour as well as nearly imperceptible incisions. Case by Dr. Repta.
