Reconstructive Surgery
An important part of what we do at Advanced Aesthetic Associates is to help our patients feel good about their appearance. In many cases, this does not involve enhancing or improving certain features, but performing reconstructive surgery for Phoenix and Scottsdale area patients who need a part of their face or body repaired due to congenital defects, traumatic injury, or disfigurement from a disease or its treatment.
In addition to breast reconstruction in Phoenix and Scottsdale, our four extensively trained and highly qualified plastic surgeons perform a broad range of reconstructive procedures for patients of all ages. Some of the many reconstructive procedures we perform are described below:
Lower Extremity Reconstruction
Performed to correct aesthetic, wound healing issues, or functional deficits of the lower extremities after injury, surgical defects caused by cancer, or congenital causes.
Facial Reconstruction
Surgery to restore the forehead, nose, eye cavities, cheekbones, upper and lower jaw bones performed to stabilize the face after facial trauma or cancer surgery.
Soft Tissue Reconstruction
Performed to obtain soft tissue coverage in various part of the body including the chest, back, and pelvis, often from chronic wounds or following cancer surgery.
Head & Neck Reconstruction
Performed to rebuild the head and neck following cancer surgery and obtain soft tissue coverage over major vessels, nerves, or critical structures or restore function to the mouth.
Pediatric Plastic Surgery
