Products and Treatments

Botox®

Botox® has been used in the field of medicine in one form or another for nearly thirty years. Currently, it has worldwide acceptance and government approval for the treatment of wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. Botox is wonderful as a preventative maintenance product, helping to keep animation wrinkles such as frown lines at bay. It should be the cornerstone of any skin rejuvenation and skin care regimen.

Juvederm® / Restylane®

Both Juvederm® and Restylane® are soft-tissue fillers composed of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural part of our skin. These soft-tissue fillers last about 6 months and are most commonly used to soften nasolabial folds which are also referred to as laugh lines, as well as a lip enhancer. Juverderm® and Restylane® are an increasingly popular method for women to improve or regain the volume of their lips.

Soft-tissue fillers

There are a large variety of other types of soft-tissue fillers other than the hyaluronic acid based fillers described above. Most of these fillers are designed to last longer. Artefill®, Sculptra®, and Radiesse® are just a few. These are usually injected deeper and frequently used to improve the volume and contour of the cheeks as well as to soften the nasolabial folds.

Obagi® /Vivite® / Nia 24®

The variety of skin care lines and products available can be daunting. In general, most skin types benefit from a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a daily sunblock. These products should form the cornerstone of any skin care program. Additional skin care products such as toners, night serums, exfoliation creams, and skin peel regimens can be added based on each individual’s skin characteristics and needs. Periodic assessment by one of the skin care professionals at Advanced Aesthetic Associates will help determine the best products for your skin and allow you to achieve and maintain a smooth, flawless complexion.

IPL photo facial/Laser spot removal/Laser hair removal/Laser facial vein correction

Our skin works very hard to protect us from the environment. Despite proper skin protection and care our skin will inevitably show some signs of its hard work. Brown spots or other color irregularities, a change in texture, and visible vessels are just some of the normal signs of aging and exposure. While mild skin peels may help with some of these irregularities, a more immediate and significant effect can be achieved with laser technology.

There are a variety of laser skin treatments available. These can be used to remove spots or skin pigmentation, treat small skin vessels, remove hair, improve the complexion of the skin surface, as well as tighten skin. Your skin care consultation at Advanced Aesthetic Associates will help you decided which products and treatments will help you achieve healthier, younger looking skin.
